Here you will be able to find a list of your assignments, the criteria for those assignments, and the scale by which your assignments will be graded. I will update this page with whatever is due that week, as well as reminders about your big projects. Feel free to post any questions that you may have in the comment section and I will get back to you in a timely manner. Also, you are more than welcome to help your fellow classmates out and post if you know the answers to their questions.

American Literature Project
For this assignment you will be choosing a literary work that is a minimum of 200 pages, written by an American author, and was published between the years of 1900 to 1960. You will then write a five to seven page paper about how you feel the work reflects the time period in which it was written and how that work shaped literature for future authors. Please do not give me a summary of the book! I want to know about the impact that the book had on the literary community and the readers of the time period in which the book was published.
